"Our son came to Footholds and in just under a year the strides he has taken and changes in him have been incredible. Recently a family member who hadn't seen our son since last August was in town and couldn't get over the progress he has made. He engaged with them, talking with them, answering questions and gave them the biggest hug and thank yous. We as parents have learned so much too and learned so many skills to help us as parents, beyond just learning about autism and the ups and downs it brings, but learning to be better parents in coping with all the things just being a parent entails.
